Maryland Master Plumber License
The Maryland Board of Plumbing issues statewide licenses for plumbing contractors. Plumbing is regulated at the state level in Maryland.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of plumbing experience, including time as a licensed journeyman
- Examination: Must pass the state Master Plumber exam
- Insurance: General liability and workers' compensation insurance
- Application Fee: $70

- No CE Required: Maryland does not require continuing education for master plumbers (CE applies only to plumbing inspectors)
