Maryland Lead Abatement Contractor License


The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) licenses contractors performing lead abatement work. Maryland has some of the strictest lead paint regulations in the country due to its significant inventory of pre-1978 housing.

  • Training: EPA-accredited lead abatement supervisor/worker training
  • Experience: Documented lead abatement experience
  • Insurance: General liability and workers' compensation insurance
