Tennessee Plumbing Contractor License


The Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors (TBLC) licenses plumbing contractors for projects valued at $25,000 or more.


Requirements


  • Experience: Documented plumbing trade experience
  • Examination: Must pass the TBLC plumbing trade and business exam
  • Bond: $500,000 surety bond required
  • Insurance: General liability and workers' compensation insurance
  • Application Fee: $250
