Tennessee HVAC Contractor License
The Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors (TBLC) licenses HVAC contractors performing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning work valued at $25,000 or more.
Requirements
- Experience: Documented HVAC trade experience
- Examination: Must pass the TBLC HVAC trade and business exam
- Bond: $500,000 surety bond required
- Insurance: General liability and workers' compensation insurance
- EPA Certification: Section 608 certification recommended for refrigerant handling
- Application Fee: $250
