Tennessee Mechanical Contractor License


The Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors (TBLC) licenses mechanical contractors for work on mechanical systems including piping, process equipment, and industrial mechanical installations.


Requirements


  • Experience: Documented mechanical trade experience
  • Examination: Must pass the TBLC mechanical trade and business exam
  • Bond: $500,000 surety bond required
  • Insurance: General liability and workers' compensation insurance
  • Application Fee: $250

Scope of Work
