Montana Construction Blaster License
The Montana Construction Blaster Program, under the Department of Labor & Industry, issues the Construction Blaster license. This license is required for individuals who perform construction blasting operations in Montana.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction blasting under the supervision of a licensed blaster
- Completion of a Board-approved training course
- Application Fee: $70 (non-refundable)
Renewal Process
- Renewal Period: Annual (renewal window November 1 – January 1)
- Renewal Fee: $40
- Late Renewal Fee: $40 additional penalty for late renewals
- Renew online through EBIZ.MT.GOV/POL or the DLI licensing portal
