Massachusetts Lead Abatement Contractor License


The Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards (DLS) licenses lead abatement contractors under the Massachusetts Lead Law. A valid license is required to perform lead abatement work.


Requirements


  • Examination: Must pass the DLS lead abatement contractor exam
  • Training: Initial lead abatement training course completion
  • Insurance: General liability and workers' compensation insurance required
  • Application Fee: $575

Scope of Work
