General Liability Insurance — Arizona
Arizona ROC does not mandate a specific minimum for GL insurance, but it is effectively required for commercial and residential construction. Most project owners and GCs require $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate.
Key Points:
- Not state-mandated but required by most project contracts
- ROC may consider lack of insurance in disciplinary proceedings
- Industry standard: $1M/$2M coverage
- COIs required for project qualification and sub agreements
- Annual renewal with carrier
