Indianapolis Electrical Contractor License
The City of Indianapolis Department of Business and Neighborhood Services (BNS) licenses electrical contractors working within Marion County. Indiana does not have a statewide electrical contractor license.

- Examination: Must pass the city electrical contractor exam
- Experience: Documented electrical trade experience
- Bond: $10,000 surety bond required

Scope of Work
