Illinois Asbestos Abatement Contractor License
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) licenses asbestos abatement contractors under the Illinois Environmental Protection Act. A valid license is required to perform asbestos removal, encapsulation, and enclosure work.

- Training: Completion of EPA-accredited asbestos abatement training
- Examination: Must pass the IDPH asbestos contractor exam
- Experience: Documented asbestos abatement experience required
