Renew online via Click2Gov at https://c2g.pompanobeachfl.gov/Click2GovOL using your BTR account number. Renewal payments are accepted beginning July 1 and must be completed by September 30 to avoid delinquency.

Contractors must email a copy of their Broward County Certificate of Competency or State Certification (DBPR license) to businesstaxreceipt@copbfl.com BEFORE attempting online renewal. Renewals are not processed without this documentation.

New BTR applications (not renewals) are processed through the Camino portal at https://app.oncamino.com/pompanobeach_fl/dashboard/new. New applicants must obtain a Zoning Use Certificate (ZUC) before the city BTR can be issued; the ZUC application is also through the Camino portal.

A separate Broward County Local Business Tax Receipt is required from the Broward County Records, Taxes and Treasury Division (https://broward.county-taxes.com/btexpress). The city instructs applicants to obtain the city BTR first, then the county BTR. Both have the same October 1 – September 30 fiscal year and September 30 renewal deadline.

Accounts not renewed by September 30 become delinquent October 1 and are subject to Florida Statute 205.053 escalating monthly penalties. FL Statute 205.053(3) authorizes an additional statewide penalty for tax unpaid 150 days after initial notice — statewide/self-executing, no local ordinance opt-in required.

For renewal assistance or if no renewal notice received, contact the BTR Division at (954) 786-4668 or email businesstaxreceipt@copbfl.com.

YourStanding must not calculate the BTR fee — fees are set by city ordinance per business classification and confirmed by the BTR Division.
