Renewals are processed via Boca eHub (www.bocaehub.com → redirects to Tyler EnerGov self-service) — login required; from the dashboard select VIEW MY LICENSES and click RENEW next to the BTR number.
Renewal window opens July 1 each year; BTRs expire September 30 with escalating penalties beginning October 1. Email reminders sent throughout July; physical renewal notices mailed during August — do not rely on notice receipt as the trigger to renew.
Contractors must provide certification from the Florida State Construction Industry Licensing Board (DBPR) or applicable state regulatory body before BTR issuance.
Palm Beach County requires its own companion BTR — a separate parallel obligation issued by the Constitutional Tax Collector for Palm Beach County. Operator must apply to the county separately; the county BTR is not bundled with the City of Boca Raton BTR process.
YourStanding must not calculate the BTR fee — the base rate published in the city fee schedule does not necessarily apply to contractor classifications; classification-specific fees are set by city code.
